Tim Weinsenberger – SAE International

Tim Weisenberger is a Project Manager for Emerging Technologies Standards at SAE International. He leads SAE efforts in automotive cybersecurity and automated driving systems. He also manages collaborative, pre-competitive research projects in wireless EV charging. Tim manages the SAE partnership with ISO to develop joint standards in these areas.

Tim has 30 years of professional experience including positions at the US Department of Transportation, Motorola, Chicago Transit Authority, and as an officer in the United States Navy. He holds an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School, an MBA from University of Illinois at Chicago and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology. He is the Board Chairman for the Salem Food Pantry in Salem, MA and lives in the Witch City with his wife Jami and children Madelyn and Jake.
